Before agreeing to your SA Woman Membership Agreement, please take the time to read the following terms and conditions of your membership. We advise that you only agree to the membership agreement if you understand and agree with these terms and conditions. Payment of your membership fee is confirmation that you have understood and read these terms and conditions. You are bound by the following terms and conditions until you formally cancel your SA Woman Membership. The information outlined in these terms and conditions will be used in the event of a discrepancy.
SA Woman is a subsidiary of SA Woman Australia Pty Ltd. For the purposes of this agreement and all engagement moving forward, SA Woman will be used.
MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
I. Membership is not transferable to another person or company. Membership is for the individual named, and does not include other employees/partners of the company/business they are involved in.
ii. Membership fee is not refundable for ‘change of mind’ purchases.
iii. Membership Payment & Duration – Membership is annual (12 months), until cancelled. It renews automatically at the end of your 12 month term for a further 12 months and so on. Your membership fee is final. Refunds (in full, prorata or otherwise) are not provided for memberships that are cancelled prior to the conclusion of the 12 month term. Your membership will renew automatically every 12 months on your anniversary date.
iv. SA Woman will not be responsible for ‘change of mind’ once the membership has been purchased and cannot issue a refund based on this reason.
v. SA Woman may offer a refund (less a processing fee) for special circumstances within FOUR WEEKS of the membership start date however this will be on a case by case basis between the parties and only upon receiving written advice from a member which will be reviewed and formally responded to. Written advice must be emailed to hello@sawoman.com.au.
vi. Please ensure hello@sawoman.com.au and accounts@sawoman.com.au are on your safe-senders list to ensure your membership related emails do not go into your spam folder.
MEMBERSHIP FEE PAYMENT
i. Your membership fee is required at the time of signing up, and will be activated upon receipt of payment. Your Anniversary Date is the date of which you signed up through the online system. You will receive an order that details as such.
ii. MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL:
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP – PAID UPFRONT
Membership renews AUTOMATICALLY at the conclusion of your 12 months – UNLESS you cancel it prior. Your membership payment is paid annually in advance and will be deducted from your nominated credit card or paypal account on the anniversary date OR you will be sent an invoice from our website system if you have previously paid by direct transfer (no longer an option as of 15/1/20) letting you know your payment is due.
You will receive a reminder email of your upcoming membership payment being due TWO weeks prior, THREE days prior and ONE DAY prior to renewal. We recommend putting a reminder in your calendar so you can ensure you have funds available. Make sure your email is updated in the member system to receive these, we take no responsibility for emails not being received due to changed contact information that has not been provided to us.
Should your membership payment be unsuccessful, you will receive an email advising you of a failed payment and payment will be automatically attempted again the next day. You will receive an email if your order fails.
You will receive contact from the SA Woman team if payment fails again.
If your membership is not paid (or a payment plan arranged) within 7 days, your membership will be cancelled 7 days after your membership was due. You can rejoin at anytime on the website – www.sawoman.com.au/join.
In the rare instance that you do not wish to renew and payment has been processed already, you are required to email accounts@sawoman.com.au. If a refund is requested, there is a $25 processing fee that is deducted from the refunded amount which covers the administration costs required to process this. This must be requested WITHIN 14 days of the renewal date. Requests after this period will not be refunded.
PAYMENT PLAN
We provide the option of a payment plan to pay your annual membership over 4 monthly payments. Please reach out to us if you would like this setup. Membership inclusions, such as member profile showcasing, will be shared when full payment is received. Non-payment will result in immediate cancellation of your membership.
RISE/SOAR ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP – PAID MONTHLY – NO LONGER OFFERED AS AT 1/8/2021
The Monthly membership is for a minimum of 12 months and then month-to-month thereafter. Your membership will be paid on the 1st of each month. Your initial payment will be pro-rata for the remainder of the month.
PLEASE make a note of your annual anniversary date, so you are aware of when your 12 months is complete. You can check within the member portal at any time if you have forgotten your initial start date. You can cancel at anytime after the initial 12 months, by logging in to the member portal.
Should your membership payment be unsuccessful, you will receive an email advising you of a failed payment and payment will be automatically attempted again the next day. You will receive an email if your order fails. If it still remains outstanding after 7 days, your membership will be cancelled and all access revoked.

Your Details
I. Personal Information: SA Woman Members must promptly notify SA Woman of any changes in personal information provided, including any changes in home or billing address, email address, telephone numbers and name or place of employment. These can be updated within the Member Login. Please email hello@sawoman.com.au any new email address so the email list can also be updated.
ii. To help us understand your needs and share your business with others. Please provide the information as requested during the sign up process and during your membership journey. You must ensure that all details that you provide to us are accurate and true and that you will not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity in your application or your capacity as a member.
iii. By becoming a SA Woman Member, you consent to receiving commercial electronic communications from us (and our approved third party providers), which you may opt-out at any time by unsubscribing or emailing hello@sawoman.com.au.
iv. Members also acknowledge that SA Woman may have photographs taken at events and that the Member consents to SA Woman using their image in the event that they are photographed for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting any service and or products supplied and or distributed by SA Woman. If you wish not to have your photo taken please advise us by email hello@sawoman.com.au or advise the photographer at the event. Any personal information that you provide to us will be dealt with in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
MEMBER CONDUCT
I. SA Woman does not take any responsibility for disputes between members and does not accept any liability whatsoever in relation to such disputes. There will be no tolerance for any unacceptable behaviour such as bullying, and membership will be terminated. Any remaining membership fees as a result of such action will be non-refundable.

INCREASE IN FEES
SA Woman reserves the right to increase fees at any time and make changes to membership inclusions. Fee increases will take into account a number of factors, and members will be advised at least one calendar month in advance if they will be impacted upon renewal. All renewals will be at the current pricing at that point in time and can be viewed at www.sawoman.com.au/join.
CONFIDENTIALITY
You acknowledge and agree that during your participation in and use of the Services you may exposed to Confidential Information. “Confidential Information” shall mean all information, in whole or in part, that is disclosed by SA Woman or any participant of used of the Services or any employee affiliate, or agent thereof, that is non-public, confidential or proprietary in nature.
Confidential information also includes, without limitation, information about business, sales, operations, know-how, trade secrets, business affairs, any knowledge gained through examination or observation of or access to the facilities, computer systems and/or books and records of SA Woman or other participating businesses, any analyses, compilations, studies or other documents prepared by SA Woman or otherwise derived in any manner from the Confidential Information that you are obliged to keep confidential or know or has reason to know should be treated as confidential.
Your participation in and/or use of the Services obligates you to Maintain all Confidential Information in strict confidence; Not to disclose Confidential Information to any third parties; Not to sue the Confidential Information in any way directly or indirectly deter mined to SA Woman or any participant or user of the Services. All confidential information remains the sole and exclusive property of SA Woman or the respective disclosing party. You acknowledge and agree that nothing in this T&C or your participation or use of the Services will be construed as granting any rights to you, by license or otherwise, in or to any Confidential Information or any patent, copyright or other intellectual property proprietary rights of SA Woman or any participant or user of the Services.
Exclusion of Incidental, Consequential and Certain Other Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by the applicable law, in no event shall SA Woman or its subsidiaries (whether or not wholly-owned), affiliates, divisions, and their past, present and future officers, agents, shareholders, members, representatives, employees, successors and assigns, jointly and and individually be liable for any direct, special, incidental, indirect, punitive, consequential or other damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to damages for: loss of profits, loss of confidential or other information, business interruption, personal injury, loss of privacy, failure to meet any duty (including of good faith or of reasonable care, negligence, and any other pecuniary or other loss whatsoever) arising out of or in any way related to the participation in or inability to participate in or use of the services, the provision of or failure to provide services, or otherwise under or in connection with any provision of this agreement, even in the event of the fault, tort (including negligence), strict liability, breach of contract or breach of warranty of SA Woman, and even if SA Woman has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Non-Disparagement: You shall, during and after the participation in and use of the Services, refrain from making any statements or comments of a defamatory or disparaging nature to any third party regarding SA Woman, or any of SA Woman officers, directors, employees, personnel, agents, policies, services or products, other than to comply with law.
Indemnification
You release, and hereby agree to indemnify, defend and save harmless SA Woman and SA Woman subsidiaries (whether or not wholly-owned), affiliates, divisions, and their past, present and future officers, agents, shareholders, members, representatives, employees, successors and assigns, jointly and individually, from and against all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, expenses, judgments, fines and penalties based upon or arising out of your negligent actions, errors and omissions, willful misconduct and fraud in connection with the participation in or use of the Services. You further agree in the event that you bring a claim or lawsuit in violation of this agreement, you shall be liable for any attorney fees and costs incurred by SA Woman or its respective officers and agents in connection with the defense of such claim or lawsuit.
Severability In the event that any provision or portion of this T&C is determined to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason, in whole or in part, the remaining provisions of this T&C shall be unaffected thereby and shall remain in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This agreement constitutes the entire agreement, understanding and arrangement (express and implied) between the member and SA Woman, relating to the subject matter of this agreement and supersedes and cancels any previous agreement, understanding and arrangement relating thereto whether written or oral.

PRIVACY POLICY
SA Woman strongly believes in protecting the privacy of the personally identifiable information our members share with us. This is why we believe it is important to inform you about how we will use your personal data.
Why share personal data with SA Woman ?
Sharing personal data enables us to send you all information related to women in business and allow us to share any opportunities or connections that may benefit you and your business.
What information do we collect?
We only collect information that you give us. We collect company related data (name, field, type…) and personal related data (name, date of birth, position, contact details).
How do we use our members’ details?
Members personal data is stored in a database owned and maintained by SA Woman . This data is kept confidential, and is only used in connection with the purposes for which it is submitted.
SA Woman uses members contact details for information sharing via:

– Member Offerings and Benefits
– SA Woman recognizes responsibility to protect the information member entrust us with.
– SA Woman does not sell or provide members data to any other third parties.
– SA Woman does not share any personal financial information.
– SA Woman uses a variety of secure techniques to protect its members’ information, including secure servers and encryption data.
Member’s rights
– Members of SA Woman have access to some of the other members’ data via the members directory (only name, surname, title, email address, phone number, company name and sector.), they only have access to what you have personally submitted and approved.
– Members of SA Woman always have the option to unsubscribe to any services provides by writing to hello@sawoman.com.au
– Members of SA Woman always have the possibility to access, change, cancel and oppose their personal information through their online account or by writing to hello@sawoman.com.au
