Meet SA Woman Member, Kirrilly Falivene .

Business/Organisation: The Inspired Mind Counselling & Psychotherapy
Job Role: Pyschotherapist & Facilitator

Tell us a bit about you:

Kirrilly believes we all possess the self-healing powers of acceptance, wisdom, and love. As a counsellor and psychotherapist, she has provided counselling for several organizations both in the UK and Australia and now runs her own private practice, focused on supporting women. As a specialist in interpersonal trauma and people pleasing, Kirrilly sees her role as a healing facilitator, helping clients recover from past traumas and unhelpful patterns and grow into empowered, self-aware individuals who know their own worth, live to their values and speak their truth.
After seeing a need in the professional space for more effective communication skills, Kirrilly now facilitates a range of workshops and courses, helping leaders build their business through dynamic leadership. By harnessing the power of empathy and authenticity, Kirrilly believes leaders can make stronger connections, leading to more connected and productive teams, and ultimately, more powerful brands.
As a recovering people pleaser, Kirrilly understands how deeply this can affect people’s self-worth and the quality of their relationships. After going on her own journey of healing and experiencing the transformative effects for herself, Kirrilly now offers people pleasing recovery workshops.

Tell us a bit about your business or organisation/role: The Inspired Mind has grown from a small private practice, providing trauma-informed counselling to specialising in corporate training, online workshops and professional speaking.

Let’s get to know you a little more:

What has been a lesson you learnt in your career or business that has stayed with you?
Don’t see failure as a negative, it’s always an opportunity for growth.

What is your favourite place in South Australia to visit?
The hill above our house in Burnside. The view looks out across the city and it’s breathtaking.

Why is being part of SA Woman important to you?
Connecting with like-minded women and hearing their stories of success, failure and everything in between is so helpful to me on my journey. I work from home a lot too so socialising and gaining some much needed perspective at times is really valuable. It also feels wonderful to be a part of something that is positive and women focused.

What is a quote or mantra you live by?
When we can free ourselves from the need to please, we give ourselves permission to let our needs matter.
