Meet SA Woman Member, Tracey Finocchio.
Business: Riverside Woodfired Pizza
Job Role: Small Business Owner
Tell us a bit about you:
After dedicating 29 years to public service as a government employee, Tracey made a significant life change by moving from the city to regional Murray Bridge. Embracing this new chapter, she resigned from the state government and launched a mobile woodfired pizza catering business.
Leveraging her strong background in administration and customer service, the business has flourished. Her commitment to excellence and passion for serving delicious woodfired pizzas have driven steady growth, resulting in a stream of enquiries, bookings, glowing Google reviews, and a growing reputation.
Since moving to Murray Bridge, Tracey has become deeply involved in her community. She organised a regional International Women’s Day event, is an active member of Business Murray Bridge, participated in a Regional Leadership Development Program (and joined its Steering Committee), and is collaborating with local women to start a Women’s Networking Group.
Starting Riverside Woodfired Pizza has not only helped Tracey regain her self-confidence but also empowered others, particularly women. She has witnessed firsthand the strength that arises when women come together to share their experiences, resources, and encouragement.
Tell us a bit about your business:
Riverside Woodfired Pizza (RWP) is a family-run business that provides a varied menu to suit any event. We offer “all you can eat” entrée and main pizza packages, grazing/nibble platters, as well as sweets and Gelati.
As a mobile woodfired pizza catering business, RWP caters to weddings, parties, corporate functions, sporting and community events, and more. The menu offers affordable options with varied price points.
Tracey is the ‘feeder,’ crafting pizzas using only the finest and freshest ingredients, many of which are sourced from local producers and small businesses within the Murray Mallee and surrounding regions. You’ll also see Darren working tirelessly at the oven, from firing it up to cooking the perfect woodfired pizzas, ensuring guests are served scrumptious pizzas as quickly as they can eat them.
While RWP is based in Murray Bridge, its central location allows the business to serve not only the Murray Mallee, Riverland, and Adelaide Hills regions but also the CBD, suburbs, and regional areas of South Australia.
When you book RWP, we’ll handle everything, allowing you to relax, enjoy yourself, and rest assured that everyone will be well and truly full. After all, RWP’s motto is, “We’ll roll in and feed you until you roll out!”
